Alfredo Studer (2004)

Alfredo Studer (born September 4, 1963 ) is a Swiss paraglider pilot . The trained computer scientist has been flying since 1990 and passed his exam in 1991. He is a member of the paragliding club PARAnoia and was a multiple winner of the Swiss CCC and the international DHV online contest . His furthest flight was 314 km, his best flight was a 237 km FAI triangle from Fanas . His longest flight to date was over 10 hours.

In winter 2005/06 and from November to December 2007 he worked with André Bussmann on a world record attempt over the open track in De Aar , South Africa , which however did not succeed because the weather conditions did not play along.
