Algemene Nederlandse Fascistenbond

Algemene Nederlandse Fascistenbond (ANFB) (General Dutch Fascist League) was a political party in the Netherlands between 1932 and 1934 . It positioned itself clearly against the anti-Semitism and National Socialism of the time, but did not condemn the National Socialist German Workers' Party , but oriented itself largely to their policies.

The ANFB emerged from the De Bezem (the broom) movement. Their guide was Jan Baars , a merchant from Amsterdam. The weekly party paper was called De Fascist .

In the 1933 elections, the ANFB received only 17,157 votes, which was 0.46 percent of the votes cast and was insufficient to enter the Dutch parliament . Nonetheless, it was the first Dutch fascist party to have a not insignificant following in the two years of its existence. In March 1934, the founder Baars left the party, which then split up into the Fascist Verbond de Vuurslag group under the leadership of Groeninx van Zoelen and the Zwart Front (black front) under the leadership of Arnold Meijer .
