Algimantas Žiukas
Algimantas Žiukas (born August 1, 1961 in Skardžiai , Molėtai district ) is a Lithuanian politician and was mayor of the Molėtai district from 2008 to 2010 .
Life
After graduating from high school, he graduated from the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija with a diploma in hydrotechnology in 1985 .
Žiukas was the owner of his own individual company ( A. Žiuko įmonė ).
Since 2000 he is a member of the Council of Rajongemeinde Molėtai. From 2008 to 2010 he was the mayor of Molėtai Rajongvage . He was elected to office on November 12, 2008 by the Council for the outgoing Valentinas Stundys .
He was a member of the Lietuvos krikščionių Demokratie partija , the Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai (LKD). He is a member of Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai (TS-LKD).
He is married and has two children.
