Algimantas Kirkutis
Algimantas Kirkutis (* 1954 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian cardiologist, politician and professor .
Life
After graduating from secondary school in 1972, Algimantas Kirkutis completed a degree in medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas from 1972 to 1978 . In 1992 he completed his habilitation in cardiology . 1979–1993 he worked at the Kaunas Medical Institute (from 1989 Kauno medicinos akademija ), from 1992 as a professor . 1989–1993 he headed the company "Cordelectro" as general director. In 1998 he and other colleagues established the health faculty and headed the Klaipėdos universitetas as dean .
