Church in Lusowo

Lusowo (German: Groß Liebenau 1943-1945 , older also Leissen ) is a village in the Greater Poland Voivodeship , in the Powiat Poznański , in the municipality of Tarnowo Podgórne . The place is 17 kilometers west of Poznan .

Lusowo was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1145. Until the end of the 18th century the village belonged to the Archdiocese of Poznan .

Local attractions include a Catholic village church and a palace. Since 2008 there is a museum in Lusowo dedicated to the Wielkopolska Uprising and Józef Dowbor-Muśnicki .
