Algirdas Gricius (* 1954 in Paraseiniai near Raseiniai ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of the Raseiniai district .
Life
After graduating from secondary school, Algirdas Gricius graduated from Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in history as a teacher in 1977 and a master’s degree in administration from Šiauli universitetas in 2005 . 1977–1982 he taught at the Tirkšliai Middle School and 1999–2003 in Raseiniai as a teacher of political science . From 2003-2010 he was the deputy director of the Raseiniai municipality administration. 2013-2015 he was advisor to the minister at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania . Since 2015 he has been the mayor of the Raseiniai district .
From 2002 he was a member of Liberalų Demokratieų partija and from 2006 of Tvarka ir teisingumas .
