Ali Hama Saleh

Ali Hama Saleh (born April 16, 1984 ) is a Kurdish politician and member of the Kurdistan Parliament . In the 2013 parliamentary elections , he was able to collect around 140,000 votes as a candidate for Gorran . He was not only the most elected candidate of his party, but also of all Kurdish parties. Due to his critical attitude towards the regional government and the existing corruption in it, he gained more and more popularity. Before his political career, he worked for the television station KNN. There he meticulously presented the oil revenues of the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan with his own broadcast. That is why he became known under the pictorial pseudonym Pocket Calculator .
