Ali Mohammad Helmi

Ali Mohammad Helmi (علي محمد حلمي) is the head of the Iranian Center for Interreligious Dialogue ( Persian مرکز گفتگوي اديان; engl. Center for Interreligious Dialogue; Abbreviation CID).

Among other things, he worked as a cultural advisor at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London .

According to the Guardian , in 2010 he was described as a “hardline supporter” of Iran's Supreme Legal Scholar Ayatollah Ali Khamenei .

He is listed by Opencharities as a contact person at the Center for Promotion of Persian Language and Literature (CPPLL) in London and together with Mohammed Yahaghi as one of the two trustees.

He was one of the participants in the 8th Colloquium of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and the Organization for Islamic Culture and Relations (Sāzmān-i Farhang wa-Irtibāṭāt-i Islāmī, English Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO)) in November 2012 .
