Alianza Patriótica para el Cambio
The Alianza Patriótica para el Cambio (German Patriotic Alliance for Change ), APC for short , was an alliance of Paraguayan parties. The APC was created in 2007 with the aim of ending the 61-year rule of the Colorado Party . She won the presidential election on April 20, 2008, and her candidate Fernando Lugo was elected as the new president.
The alliance consisted of the following parties:

- Partido Demócrata Progresista
- Partido Encuentro Nacional
- Partido Frente Amplio
- Partido Liberal Radical Auténtico
- Partido Movimiento al Socialismo
- Partido País Solidario
- Partido Revolucionario Febrerista
- Partido Social Demócrata
- Partido Socialista Comunero
as well as the following social organizations:
- Ñembyaty Guasú Luque 2008
- Bloque Social y Popular
- Colo'o Apytere
- ERES
- Fuerza Republicana
- Mujeres por la Alianza
- Resistencia Ciudadana Nacional
- Tekojoja
- Teta Pyahu
For the 2010 municipal elections, the APC and other groups formed the Frente Guasú .
