Alicia se tiró por el parabrisas (literally: "Alicia threw herself through the windshield") is an Ecuadorian rock band.
history
The band was founded in Quito at the end of 2001 by singer Alex Vor , guitarist Daniel Heredia and drummer Juan Carrión . Bassist David Vor joined them 4 years later and Juan Carrión was replaced on drums by Andrés Mandini , who a few months later had to give up due to his medical studies and was replaced by José Luis Vergara . At the end of 2006 the band released their first album “Radioestesia”. In 2008 Alicia se tiró por el parabrisas recorded their new album "Radioespectro" in collaboration with the Colombian producer ZETHA. Their single "Motel" was awarded in 2008 as the best musical production in Ecuador. The rock band took part in festivals such as the Quitofest 2006 and 2008 or the Fete de la Musique .
