Alkinals
The alkynals form a subgroup of the aldehydes . Their name and structure are derived directly from the alkynes , i. H. the aldehyde group also has a C≡C triple bond and straight or branched alkyl groups . They do not contain any other heteroatoms or further multiple bonds .
