Allée couverte la Maison du Diable
The Allée couverte la Maison du Diable ( German "House of the Devil" - also called Allée couverte du Bignon) is located in a forest under a power line between Montertelot and Monterrein, northeast of La Chapelle-Caro near Ploërmel in the Morbihan department in France .
The dilapidated, northwest-southeast oriented gallery grave is about 20.0 meters long. A number of slightly inwardly inclined bearing stones are either in situ or, like the two remaining cap stones, have collapsed. It has its chamber at the northwest end.
Nearby are the severely disturbed row of stones Pas de Gargantua and the equally disturbed Allée couverte les Chambrettes ( German "the young women" ).
