All About Jazz is one of the leading jazz - sites based in Philadelphia in the United States with about a million readers per month. It is aimed at jazz lovers and professionals. The website is widely recognized by jazz fans as a source for providing detailed and timely reports.

The website of was founded by Michael Ricci in 1995. Maintained by volunteer writers, editors and musicians, the website features coverage of every genre of jazz and releases from the independent labels to the majors . As an advocacy group, All About Jazz aims to raise awareness of jazz, its history and its musicians.

In 2009, All About Jazz was voted “The Best Web Site Concentrating on Jazz” for the eighth time by the Jazz Journalists Association . All About Jazz serves as a source for reviews, interviews, news, album releases, free MP3 downloads, information about musicians, photos and is home to one of the most active jazz communities on the internet. The All About Jazz discussion forum had more than 11,000 members in 2010. The website was linked to the All About Jazz-New York magazine , which has been called The New York City Jazz Record since 2011 .
