Alleanza di Secondigliano is one of the most powerful Camorra alliances, named after the Secondigliano district in northeast Naples .

The Alleanza di Secondigliano has existed since the 1990s and was founded by Gennaro Licciardi, Eduardo Contini, Patrizio Bosti, Gaetano Bocchetti, Giuseppe Lo Russo, Marco Armando Carta Il Tedesco and Francesco Mallardo. The main area stretched from Secondigliano via Scampia to Piscinola , Marianella and Chiaiano , with activities such as drug trafficking , arms smuggling and pimping being extended across Campania .

The Alleanza was named after the slums of Secondigliano, also called the "Third World" by Napolitans, one of the most dilapidated districts of Naples with the highest rates of poverty, unemployment and crime in the city. The youthful gangs control the drug trade with open arms violence in the social housing complexes of Vela Rossa , Vela Gialla and Vela Celeste , which are known as “Europe's supermarket for hard drugs”.

On May 18, 2008, the Italian police arrested the head of the Secondigliano clan, Guido Abbinante, in a clinic where he was under an assumed name for heart treatment. Abbinante had been sentenced to 20 years in prison for international drug trafficking, but was released in September 2007. Since then he is said to have ordered the murder of two members of the warring Di Lauro clan.
