Allen Brent (* 1940 in London ) is a British patristic .

Life

From 1998 to 2010 he was a lecturer in the Faculty of Theology at Cambridge University. He was a professor of early Christian history and iconography at King's College London , where he and Markus Vinzent are researching a two-year BARDA project: Early Christian epigraphy and iconography according to Dölger. He is also Professor Invitato at the Istituto Patristico Augustinianum in Rome . He was ordained a deacon for the staff ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham on April 28, 2011 and a priest on June 15, 2011.
