Alliance of Military Members , Officials and Teachers ( Chinese 軍 公教 聯盟 黨 , Pinyin Jūn gōngjiào liánméng dǎng , English Military Civil Faculty Alliance Party , MCFAP ) is a small and interest party founded in Taiwan in 2014 .
history
The party was founded on May 20, 2014 in Taiwan. The person in charge of the establishment was Li Yanxi ( Kommission ), the former director of the Commission for Reconstruction after Typhoon Morakot . In the party, mainly retired former military members and officials gathered. The central demand of the MCFAP was a reform of the pension system, which should lead to the betterment of pensioners. To finance the reform, the wealth of the Kuomintang (KMT), which it had amassed during its time of sole rule, should be confiscated and transferred to a pension fund. The "green-blue" party fight between the DPP and KMT should be ended. The party avoided precise statements on the question of Taiwan's relationship with the People's Republic of China. However, in a 2015 interview, party chairman Li Yanxi spoke out in favor of sticking to the " 1992 consensus ".
In the 2016 election of the Legislative Yuan , the MCFAP nominated a total of 17 candidates, each with between 0 and 2 percent of the vote. The party won 87,213 votes (0.72%) and failed to pass the five percent hurdle.
