Allkpop is a news blog for K-Pop . The website is owned by 6Theory Media and is hosted in Edgewater, New Jersey . Allkpop is the most visited K-Pop website in the world and generates more web traffic than any South Korean music portal.
Allkpop often conducts exclusive interviews with South Korean stars such as u. a. Brian Joo or Girls' Generation and helps spread the Korean wave .
In 2010 Allkpop received the license to stream live the Mnet Asian Music Awards . In 2009, Allkpop was named Best Express News Site at the Mashable Awards , and in 2010 it received the Must-Follow Brand Award .
