Allonge (book)

As Couper [ alõːʒə ] (of French. Allonge , "Annex") is a hinged panel in a book called.

It can contain, for example, a map , construction or anatomical drawings or the graphic representation of the course of events over time. It is usually attached by machine with a narrow strip of glue to one side of the book's binding and is folded several times to open it .
