Allotria

Allotria ( ancient Greek allótria , "strange, not relevant things") stands in the Greek philosophy of the Cynics and the Stoa for everything that distracts people from their own, authentic, idion , and basically does not concern them , for example property, Fame, power, suffering, disease and passions. In addition, Allotria means something like fun or amusing nonsense . In contrast to practical jokes , however, no pranks are played on other people.
