Allyson Renee Swaby (born October 3, 1996 in West Hartford , Connecticut ) is an American - Jamaican soccer player . Her younger sister Chantelle Swaby is also a Jamaican national player.

Career

Swaby played college football in the United States for the Boston College Eagles from 2014 to 2017 . Then she went to Iceland , where she played for Fjarðab / Höttur / Leiknir in the third division. In November 2018 Swaby moved to AS Roma in the Serie A .

National team

Swaby was invited to the Jamaican national team for Olympic qualification in 2015, but initially turned it down. After graduating from school, she decided in 2018 that she wanted to play for the Jamaican women's national soccer team . She was on the Jamaican squad at the 2019 Women's World Cup in France .
