Almut Irmscher
Almut Irmscher (born November 16, 1959 in Wuppertal ) is a German author of travel literature and head of a travel agency.
Life
Growing up in Velbert and Mönchengladbach, she graduated from high school in 1978 in Mönchengladbach. This was followed by a geology degree in Cologne .
Almut Irmscher has self-published around 25 travel books since 2013. At the beginning of 2019, the Berlin-based MANA publishing house took over its reading book series.
After a long stay in Liverpool and later on a small farm in Lower Saxony (County Hoya), she has lived in Nümbrecht with her husband, a naval officer, since 1997 . She has three children.
It is a member of the Association of German Writers (VS) in ver.di, Cologne district.
