The MANA-Verlag is a travel book publisher in Berlin .

History and offer

The publishing house was founded by Hartmut Jäcksch, who still runs it today. Founded in 1999, the publishing house specialized in New Zealand and has since published around 50 titles on this region. In addition to the travel titles, which make up the main part of the program, this also included fiction by New Zealand authors such as Philip Temple, Chad Taylor, Heretaunga Pat Baker, Peter Walker, Robert Sullivan , Martin O'Connor and Helga Tiscenko.

When it was founded in 2006, more publications about Australia were included, and in 2013 the publisher expanded the program to include the North America region, initially with titles on Canada .

With the restructuring of the publishing program in 2017, MANA-Verlag became a specialist in country and travel books for various regions of the world. The focus of the publishing house is the series of travel books "Country Portrait", in which topics such as history, culture, travel and nature are dealt with.

In addition to the country portraits, the series Country Manual Special, Adventure REISEN, Travel Guide and Educational Guide appear.

MANA-Verlag also offers further information on these topics and regions. This includes newsletters and information on the Internet, for example via social media channels such as Xing, Facebook and Twitter.
