Wewaii

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wewaii was a free browser game in which a beach hotel had to be built and maintained. The action took place in the present and in real time.

history

The game was developed by TG Nord, a subsidiary of Travian Games . The open beta version started on May 1st, 2009, and the game officially went online on August 5th, 2009. There were several versions, for example German , International and Netherlands . The game was discontinued on April 30, 2014. With the new edition Aloha Paradise Hotel , the hotel manager game has been continued since April 9, 2014.

Game description

The player started with a completely littered beach section. His first task was to remove the garbage in order to then erect various buildings (residential buildings, attractions, decorations). He received income from vacationers in the form of mussels. The vacationers were differently demanding (1 star to 5 stars) and each have special requests. The happier the hotel guests, the higher the player's income. As in role-playing games , the holidaymakers also distributed experience points. If the player had enough experience points, he rose to a higher level and was able to upgrade his hotel.

Every day the player received 24 so-called spontaneous points with which he could start attractions or upgrade some buildings with special skills for a short time. For real money, players could buy so-called pearls , which offered various advantages.

Awards

In 2010, the game was awarded the German Computer Game Prize in the Best Browser Game category.
