Tribsand

Tribsand is to some extent a distance from the music business.

Did you get lucky?

Did you get lucky? is the hit single from the album, for which there is also a music video. It constantly shows Kuno Lauener's face and very consciously plays with the irony of fate / life: Kuno Launer had an accident on the way to a rendezvous.

The video was shot in front of and in the Tiefenau hospital in Bern. The filmed material is played in the video at double speed.

The song was later adapted by Hank Shizzoe under the title "your luck will find you".

Geri Gagarin

Geri Gagarin plays with the rumors about the moon landing by claiming in the song that Geri Gagarin was the first person on the moon.

Room waud

Zimmerwaud is about a soldier who was simply forgotten in the Zimmerwald area . This is a reference to the wiretapping system from WWII.

Hula

Hula is the second published instrumental song by Züri West, after the title Cruiser from the 1999 album Super 8 .

Römer and Pünktli

Although Römer and Pünktli are two independent songs, they appeared on a single single because they have a similar theme, namely: how small a person is in relation to the universe or infinity.

Pop song

Kuno Lauener breaks down the stylistic devices that make up a pop song in a pop song, thus reducing his own medium to absurdity.

On the day when it happened

"On the day where it is gone" is about anonymity or impersonality in society.

I'm hot in the garden

"I mean we met in a garden" is an adaptation of "We met in a garden" from the album "Come together" by 2raumwohnung by Kuno Lauener .

Schötem

Schötem is a cover version of the Serge Gainsbourg song Je t'aime… moi non plus .

Kuno Lauener sang the duet with Jaël , the singer and songwriter of the band Lunik .

In terms of running time, it is the longest song by Züri West.

successes
