Alois Fehringer

Alois Fehringer (born March 17, 1917 in Amstetten ; † July 22, 1960 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and community worker. Fehringer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1949 to 1959 .

Fehringer came from a large family and was involved in Christian youth organizations. He passed the Matura and then worked for the Reichsautobahn surveying service. In 1947 Fehringer was elected to the municipal council of Amstetten, and between 1950 and 1955 he held the office of second vice mayor. From 1955 Fehringer was again a local councilor and from 1959 to 1960 1st Vice Mayor. Between November 5, 1949 and June 4, 1959, Fehringer represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
