Alois Hochegger

Alois Hochegger (born June 25, 1949 in Preims, municipality of Wolfsberg (Carinthia) ) is an Austrian bank manager.

Alois Hochegger studied business administration in Graz. In 1976 he joined the auditing department of what was then the Main Association of Savings Banks and in 1981 moved to Sparkasse Wolfsberg, where he took over the chairmanship of the board in 1983. After the merger of the Sparkasse Wolfsberg with the Kärntner Sparkasse in 1990 he became a member of the board of the Kärntner Sparkasse and in 1999 took over the chairmanship of the board. In 2005 he was elected President of the Austrian Savings Banks Association. He is also a member of the supervisory bodies of several subsidiaries of the Austrian savings bank group .
