Alpen-Donau-Adria is a television magazine with contributions from television stations from Bavaria ( BR ), Austria ( ORF ), Hungary (MTV Pécs) , Slovenia (RTV SLO) , Croatia (HRT) , Italy ( Rai South Tyrol and Trieste) and Switzerland (RTSI Lugano) and Serbia Radio-Televizija Srbije (RTS). The focus of the magazine is on regional and supra-regional chronicles, mostly from the regions of the Alps , Danube and Adriatic regions , i.e. southern Central Europe .

The magazine celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2007. The ORF stopped the broadcast after 683 episodes with around 2300 contributions, on January 30, 2010 the last edition was broadcast on ORF 2 .

The program Alpen-Donau-Adria is currently broadcast on Bavarian television on Sundays from 4.45 p.m. to 5.15 p.m., alternating with euroblick magazine . In the past, Michael Ament and Renate Herzberg moderated the show, and Daniela Dinandt has been the show's presenter since March 2012 .

The television broadcast was preceded by a three year radio broadcast before it was adopted by television. The Austrian presenter Günther Ziesel is considered one of the fathers of the show .
