The Alph Lake is about 0.75 km long lake at the foot of the Ward Valley on the northwest side of the Koettlitz Glacier on the Antarctic Scott Coast . The Alph River , from which the lake takes its name, flows through the lake.
The lake got its name from the geological west group of the British Terra Nova Expedition (1910-13) under Griffith Taylor.
