Alphonse Grisel

Alphonse Grisel (*?; †?) Was a French athlete and gymnast who took part in the Olympic Games in Athens in 1896, but without winning a medal.

In the long jump he was one of nine participants, but did not make it into the top four. In the 100-meter run and the 400-meter run , Grisel was eliminated in the preliminary run and therefore did not make it to the final. Also in the discus throw he could not qualify for the final.

In gymnastics, he was in the parallel bars as one of 18 participants.
