Alphonse Max

Alphonse Max (* 1929 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian writer of Flemish-German descent and Consul General in Montevideo .

He graduated from high school in Sofia in 1947 and left for the West in 1949. In 1954 he received his doctorate in philosophy and political science in London and has lived in Montevideo as a political writer and consul general since 1955. There he is director of the Institute for International Studies.
