The Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang is a two-section cable car that runs from the valley station in Nesselwang ( 911  m above sea  level ) via the middle station ( 1193  m above sea  level ) to one at 1500  m above sea level. NHN Höhe mountain station below the Alpspitz ( 1575  m above sea  level ) and the Edelsberg ( 1629  m above sea  level ).

First section

The first section consists of a combi lift built by Doppelmayr in 2006, i.e. a detachable monocable gondola that is equipped with ten gondolas for eight people each and with thirty armchairs for four people each. With this combination, skiers and snowboarders as well as pedestrians and tobogganists can comfortably use the lift via a separate entrance. In addition, the number of gondolas and armchairs used can be adapted to the respective needs. So far (2013) the railway is Germany's only combined railway. It has a speed of 5 m / s (18 km / h) and a transport capacity of 1240 people per hour.

Second section

Until 2010, a chairlift led from the middle station to the mountain station at 1500  m above sea level. Above sea level. The last trip took place on July 19, 2010. The old chairlift was replaced by the second section of the Kombibahn at the end of 2010.
