Alrik and Erik ( Old Norse Alrekr and Eiríkr ) were two Swedish legend kings .

The Gesta Danorum of Saxo Grammaticus following, broke out between Alrik, King of Sweden, and Gestiblindus a violent war. Gestiblindus asked Frotho for protection and offered his submission as well as that of his own people. To support he received Skalk from Schonen and Erik and now moved with substitute teams against Alrik. At Erik's instigation, Alrik's son Gunthionus was attacked first, who fell. After Alrik heard of his son's death, he asked Erik to retire from Gestiblindus' service. Erik refused, so Alrik asked Gestiblindus for a duel. Erik refused this too, referring to the age of his employer, and instead offered himself as a rival. Alrik fell in the duel, Erik survived with severe wounds.

When Erik returned to King Frotho, who had initially believed him dead, he made him king over the recently conquered peoples in Sweden, Wermland , Heslingland and on the sunny islands; on top of that, he declared him a vassal of Helsinki, Estonia and Finland.
