Appearance

The old German Mohrenkopf has a strong, low-lying field pigeon shape . The plumage lies well over the entire body. The head is well arched with a high and broad forehead and a strong neck. The back of the head is either smooth or has a clam hood . The eye color is dark or orange in color. The beak is medium in length. The beak color is black in the black and blue, light in the red and flesh-colored in the yellow animals. The old German Mohrenkopf has a broad chest and a slightly sloping broad back. The tail and wings are long and closed. The legs have a dense thigh fletching with long and dense pines on the feet.
