The Old Äspetbrücke ( Swedish Gamla Äspetbron ) is a bridge in Åhus in the municipality of Kristianstad, Sweden .

It bridges the Helge å west of the Åhus harbor. The Helge å flows a little further east into the Baltic Sea . The bridge connects Åhus old town with Äspet, south of it . Today it is only permitted for pedestrians and cyclists.

The bridge was built in 1908. It replaced a previously existing ferry connection. The bridge, known as the flywheel bridge, originally had a bridge keeper's house, where a fee of five ore was levied for the way there and back. A bridge keeper was only used at the beginning of the 20th century.

Later, a new bridge connection was built west of the old Äspetbrücke, over which motorized traffic is now carried.
