Old Dorffer Linden
The Alte Dorffer Linde is a natural monument in the Stolberg district of Dorff .
The old Dorffer lime tree is a solitary winter linden tree (Tilia cordata). Their age is estimated at 500 years. The circumference of their short trunk is about 5 meters. The shape of the treetop suggests that it has been reduced several times over the years.
The natural monument is located in the immediate vicinity of Kreisstraße 13 on a hill at the end of the village in the direction of the neighboring village of Büsbach . An impasse in the immediate vicinity of the tree bears the name Dorffer Linde .
The Alte Dorffer Linde is owned by the city of Stolberg.
