The old parish church of John the Baptist is a Roman Catholic church in Vandans in the Montafon .

A chapel is known from 1479. In 1519 a chaplaincy of the mother church Tschagguns was started. After the structural enlargement to a church in 1614, the church was raised to an independent parish church in 1651. The church was enlarged in 1777 under the architect Josef Burtscher. After the New Parish Church was built at the opposite end of the cemetery, the Old Parish Church was closed in 1960. After extensive structural work, the church was reopened and is now used as a burial church.

The church is a baroque nave with a retracted choir under a gable roof with wood shingle. It has a church tower facing south with an onion dome, the lower floors of which have a square floor plan. The two top tower floors are octagonal.

During restoration work on the church tower in May 2020, an alleged relic of the apostle James was found next to centuries-old records in the gold-leaf church tower ball, which weighs around ten kilograms . According to the restorer Beatrice Pfeifer , the "treasure" was in poor condition and handed over to the diocese of Feldkirch , which checks the authenticity of the find.
