The Old Synagogue in Luxembourg City was built in 1893/94.
history
On September 28, 1894, the synagogue , built by the architects Ludwig Levy and Charles Arendt , was inaugurated, which featured oriental style elements in keeping with the taste of the time . The synagogue on rue Notre-Dame was destroyed by the German occupiers in 1943 during World War II.
The new synagogue was inaugurated in 1953 .
