The Alte Schlößchen is a listed half-timbered building in Sankt Martin (Palatinate) .
history
The two Renaissance residential buildings of the Schneider families were built by Johann Christoph Hund von Saulheim and remodeled in baroque style in the 18th century. The two houses facing the street with their rear annexes form a square separated by the courtyard. Through the conversion or installation of additional outbuildings, the clarity was lost and a newer style is intertwined with the old one. Today the old castle is one of the main attractions in the wine village of Sankt Martin.
