The Altstädter Kirchhof building is a listed rectory in Bernburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Bernburg valley town, north of the Marienkirche .

Architecture and history

The two-story rectory of the neighboring Protestant St. Mary's Church was built in 1693. A small side room also belongs to the courtyard. Originally the property was completely fenced in. It is part of the baroque development of the church square north of the church.

The parsonage is registered as an architectural monument under registration number 094 60536 in the monument register for the city of Bernburg . As a parsonage, the building is given special cultural and historical significance. On December 9, 2015, a memorial plaque for Barbara Meyhe, who was convicted in a witch trial, was put up on the house .
