Alvydas Kirkliauskas

Alvydas Kirkliauskas (* 1954 in Būda , Prienai district ) is a Lithuanian athlete, strongman , and politician of the Marijampolė municipality .

Life

After graduating from high school, Alvydas Kirkliauskas graduated from Lietuvos veterinarijos akademija in Kaunas in 1977 and became a zoo engineer . Member of the Marijampolė Council from 2003 to 2007 and from 2011. Kirkliauskas works as a heavy athletics trainer at the “Sūduva” sports center in Marijampolė . He runs the sports club " Suvalkijos ąžuolas". Kirkliauskas headed the Lithuanian Strongman Association. In 1992 he was the winner of the Lithuanian Strongman Championship and medalist in 1993, 1994, 1995.

Kirkliauskas was a member of the Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga , in 2010 the Krikščionių partija .

Kirkliauskas is married. He and his wife Angelė have a daughter Lina and a son Vytautas.
