Alwin Fürle

Alwin Fürle (* 1939 in Lüben , Silesia ) is a German doctor.

Career

In 1965, Fürle came to the specialist hospital for neurology and psychiatry in Bernburg as a doctor . There he later became chief physician. In 2004 he retired. At the same time, he had been a member of the Psychiatry Committee of the State of Saxony-Anhalt since 1993 and was its chairman for several years until 2009.

Since the late 1960s he has been a member of the parish church council of the castle parish of St. Aegidien in Bernburg. In 1982 he was elected to the Anhalt State Synod and 1985 to the Anhalt Church Government. In 1990 he was Vice-President of the last Synod of the Federation of Evangelical Churches in the GDR and from 1991 a member of the Presidium of the Synod of the EKD. From 1994 to April 2012 he was President of the regional synod of the Evangelical Church in Anhalt .
