Amadou Sakanogo (born June 26, 1966 in M'Bahiakro , Ivory Coast ) is a former Ivorian football player and current coach.
Life
Sakanogo was born in M'Bahiakro, in the N'Zi-Comoé region, but grew up in Abobo in the Lagunes region .
society
Sakanogo started his career with Espoir Football Club Abobo and started his professional career in 1987 with ASC Bouaké. On December 26, 1988 Barracuda left the ASC Bouaké and switched to ASEC Mimosas . At ASEC, Saka matured into a high performer and won three championships with the club (1990, 1991 and 1995), twice the Côte d'Ivoire Cup (1990 and 1995), three times the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Cup, once the IFF Cup (1995) and was in the final of the CAF Champions League in 1995 . In 1996 he left ASEC for a career in France with Olympique Saint-Denis. After a short time he turned his back on France and played for Stella Club Adjamé and ASI d'Abengourou until 2000 . In spring 2000 Barracuda moved to Sabé Sport de Bouna, where he ended his career in 2002.
National team
Sakanogo was a member of the Ivory Coast national soccer team in the 1990s .
Coaching career
He started his coaching career in Europe in 2004 and returned to the Ivorian Ligue 2 MTN in 2005. Where he coached Hiré FC for several years. On August 23, 2011, Sakanogo was appointed Technical Director at AS Denguélé. Since 2012 he has been part of the Center Technique National de Football (CTNF) in Bingerville . On February 14, 2012, he returned to ASEC Mimosas and has been an assistant trainer at the Académie de Sol Beni (Académie MIMOSIFCOM) youth boarding school there.
