Amadou Taal (diplomat)

Amadou Sheikh Omar Taal (* in the 20th century) is a Gambian diplomat.

Life

Taal was chairman of the NGO Worldview The Gambia around 2008 / until around 2015 . He is a longtime member of the United Democratic Party (UDP).

On May 16, 2017, he was appointed Gambian High Commissioner in Nigeria by President Adama Barrow . The accreditation extends to twelve other countries (including Ghana, Angola and Chad) as well as the post of permanent representative to the Commission of the West African Economic Community (ECOWAS).
