Amarna letter EA 242
Amarna letter EA 242 is a letter from Biridija , King of Megiddo to the Pharaoh . It is written in Akkadian cuneiform on a clay tablet and is one of the Amarna letters from the palace archives of Pharaoh Akhenaten . This was located in the newly founded capital Achet-Aton ("Horizon of Aton"), today's Tell el-Amarna . Today the plaque is in the Vorderasiatisches Museum in Berlin , inventory number VAT 1670.
