Amat-Šamaš

Amat-Šamaš was a Šamaš-Nadītum in Sippar . She was the daughter of Sumu-Addu and sister of Iltani , the queen of Karana . Her task in Sippar was constant prayer for her father's life - parallel to the task of Erišti-Aja , the princess of Mari .
