Eristi-aja

Erišti-Aja was a princess of Mari . While for a long time it was assumed that it was the daughter of Zimri-Lim , research today tends to assume that it was a sister of Jasmaḫ-Addus or a daughter of Jaḫdun-Lim . It was a Nadītum of the Šamaš in the Giparu of Sippar . The theophoric element in her name indicates a close connection to the goddess Aja, who is also worshiped there . She is known from several documents in the Mari archives.
