The American Center was a French cultural foundation and institution in Paris .
The people in charge of the art and culture center , which was originally founded in the 14th arrondissement and was donated from US private wealth, commissioned Frank O. The American Center went after moving into bankruptcy and sold the building in 1996th
Today it is home to the Cinémathèque française film institute , to which a film museum and a cinema are attached.
