American Maritime Officers
The American Maritime Officers (AMO) is the largest union of marine officers (captains) in the United States . She represents all nautical officers in the Merchant Navy and the United States Navy sailing under the US flag .
AMO offers its members and their families their own health care and pension insurance . With the AMO Safety & Education program , members can be trained in various questions of seamanship in the Simulation, Training, Assessment & Research Center in Dania Beach , Florida .
