The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) is a multidisciplinary professional society dedicated to the Reproductive Medicine is dedicated. The society was founded in 1944 as the American Fertility Society (AFS). The company is based in Birmingham, Alabama with a press office in Washington, DC. The society has members from over 100 other countries. Its president is Dolores J. Lamb.

The ASRM organizes annual meetings , courses, seminars and workshops. It publishes the monthly journal Fertility and Sterility , as well as Sexuality, Reproduction and Menopause (SRM) , the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics , Menopausal Medicine, and ASRM News . These also publish consensus papers of the society on medical standards.

Special interest groups deal with sub-areas of reproductive medicine, such as artificial insemination , andrology , contraception , endocrinology , sexuality and immunology . Ethical issues are dealt with by an ethics committee, which develops and publishes guidelines.

The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) is a similar European specialist society.
