Aminobutyric acids
Aminobutyric acids are chemical compounds and derivatives of butyric acid with an amino substituent (NH 2 ) on the propyl radical of butyric acid.
These include the following isomers:
- α-aminobutyric acid , ( R ) - and ( S ) -isomer
- β-aminobutyric acid , ( R ) and ( S ) isomer
- γ-aminobutyric acid
